Pavé, micro pavé and hidden halo — what's the difference?

  • Pavé: small diamonds set in one or more rows along the band.
  • Micro pavé: the same idea with smaller stones set even closer, for a finer, almost continuous shimmer.
  • Hidden halo: a ring of small diamonds set under the centre stone, visible from the side. It adds sparkle without changing the ring's clean top view.
  • Halo: small diamonds around the centre stone, making it look larger from above.

How to choose

  • Band width. A slim single-row pavé band makes the centre stone look bigger. A triple-row band is bolder and reads as a statement on its own.
  • Half or full pavé. Half pavé sets diamonds across the top of the band only, which is more comfortable for everyday wear. Full pavé runs all the way round for sparkle from every angle.
  • Sizing. Pavé bands are hard to resize without disturbing the small diamonds, and we don't offer resizing. Check your size carefully with our ring size guide before ordering.
  • Care. Clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush, and have the small stones checked once a year.
